Experience the Homecoming
Many members of Alcoholics Anonymous experience a feeling of community, fellowship and belonging whenever they attend an AA meeting. We believe that when Bob and Anne Smith lived here, active alcoholic visitors to this house very likely had those same feelings, and because of that warm welcome, felt the first glimmer of hope for a possible recovery. This is what happened to us when we walked into Dr. Bob's home. We experienced an immediate sense of being a part of something much larger than ourselves; of gratitude for belonging to a group of ordinary people who with the help of a power greater than themselves had overcome an extraordinary obstacle. We have felt a wonderful bond of kinship with those who have gone before us. We have felt especially connected to the early members of our fellowship, particularly the man in whose home we stand, ...Dr. Bob Smith. We invite you to share these experiences with us.
